Arman Sharma

Mr. Arman Sharma specializes in white collar crime defence, corporate disputes, and litigation and has been practicing since 2008. With over 14 years of experience, he is known for his expertise in handling complex matters involving questions of constitutional law, criminal law and arbitrations pertaining to India and internationally as well. He pursued his masters of law (LLM) in 2016 in Comparative and International Dispute Resolution from School of International Arbitration, Queen Mary University of London, UK. He has handled matters of wide impact and huge financial magnitude for large corporations and domestic and international listed companies. He has spearheaded various proceedings pertaining to Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002, Foreign Exchange Management, 1999, Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and other regulatory enactments. He has extensive experience in international commercial and domestic arbitration; corporate and commercial litigation; regulatory practices and securities law. He focuses on litigation, arbitration, investigations, mergers, acquisitions and foreign inward investment.

He has also assisted in drafting of the second edition of SFIO Investigation Manual for the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. He along with his team has also worked on the Judicial Reforms in Criminal Law, for Niti Ayog, Ministry of Law. He along with his team have also assisted in the Serious Fraud Investigation Office’s (SFIO) Investigation Manual, Second Edition for the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi, for carrying out investigations based on the Committee member’s suggestions, experts on the subject and other representatives of various agencies.
